Vector AeroMedical is a fixed-wing critical care service based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Formed in 2016, Vector AeroMedical boasts an impressive fleet serving critical care patient transport, organ recovery and personnel transportation missions. Currently three aircraft are configurable to the critical care level including multiple Cessna Citation V jet aircraft and a Pilatus PC-12 turboprop. This fleet configuration allows for efficient & economical short-range transportation as well as international medical repatriation. The Pilatus PC-12 is equipped with a large 52” electrically articulated aft patient entry door and an electrically actuated patient loading unit – allowing for bariatric patient loading.
In addition to critical care configured aircraft, the partner organization and air carrier partner, Causey Aviation, has an additional fourteen jet aircraft (including the ultra-long-range Dassault Falcon 2000LS) that are accessible for organ recovery missions. Causey Aviation has been an FAA 14 CFR 135 air carrier and aircraft management company since 1968, in addition to serving as the primary 14 CFR 145 repair station for mission aircraft.
Ground service functions to support the missions returning to the Raleigh-Durham (RDU) Airport and surrounding RDU reliever airports. Currently assets are based at Raleigh-Durham, Johnston Regional, Raleigh-Executive and Piedmont Triad.
