Helicopter Critical Care Transport: AirLife North Carolina located in Lumberton operates its EC135 aircraft within a 150-mile radius and is equipped to perform scene and inter-facility responses. We provide essential lifesaving services throughout southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. During missions, highly trained medical teams care for patients with lifesaving interventions to significantly improve patient outcomes. These interventions include providing advanced trauma care such as blood products administration; advanced airway intervention; cardiac/hemodynamic monitoring; ventilator management; vasoactive medication administration and titration; and advanced surgical procedures.
Fixed Wing: Operating from strategically-located bases, Air Methods provides long-range emergent and non-emergent fixed wing air medical transportation throughout the U.S. and beyond. Our bed-to-bed service includes arranging ground transportation and meeting a wide range of medical needs that might arise during transport. Throughout the entire process, we are committed to delivering the highest level of care and service to our patients, hospitals and emergency services partners.
